The Eagles won 4-1 today against Runar, that ended as number seven in the 3rd Division last year. Runar lost 0-1 against 2nd Division Fram last weekend after having burned two penalties, so they're a decent side. Because of futsal activities Ørn fielded a young team. After victory in the Re-cup and a comfortable win in the friendly against Re last weekend, our seniorside has made a good the start in 2013 season.

I wasn't expecting you to start yet. I thought you would be under 10 feet of snow! Good luck for the season.

Well, it's still a lot of snow here... The players are used to it, I guess. Our second pre-season match ended in a 2-2 draw against second division Vålerenga2. A good result, and the lads played really well. The Eagles have been drawn against Stoppen in the 1. qualifying round in the FA Cup. The match will be played next month.

After solid efforts in training matches so far this year, it was a setback against Larvik Turn on Friday night.
More experienced players were back in the team, but could not prevent the first defeat in 2013 - 0-1 ..
It was a poor game, but Eagles Horten was clearly the best side after the break and should have settled the match then.
The Eagles tried out several players in new roles.

The Eagles won 3-1 in Thursday's pre-season friendly against our fierce rivals FK Tønsberg. The Eagles led 2-0 at half time after a very good 1. half. 10 minutes after the break we increased to 3-0, while FKT reduced 10 minutes before the end. Goalsscorers Kristoffer Silberg (2) and Thomas Knudsen (1). Best player: Håkon Kjernli.

Since last time I visited the forum we have lost 0-2 against second division team Fram Larvik. The Eagles played a good match, so we do not pay to much attention on the result. The squad is gelling well and we are optimistic On Sunday we play Stoppen SK in the first qualifying round in the norwegian cup. Like in England, we want to make it to first round proper! The match kicks off at 2 pm CET. I guess we will find out how much the players wants this!

The first qualifying round turned out to be a walk-in-the-park 8-0 against Stoppen! Let's keep up the pace in the second round as well

The draw for the second round proper has been made, and we will meet 3rd division Runar from Sandefjord at home Monday 1.4. Runar is an amateur side linving in the shadows of their professional neighbors Sandefjord Fotball. We met Runar in february and 4-1. Let's give them one hell of a beating again.

The Eagle's first team is now at a training camp in Turkey. Ice, snow and cold are replaced with natural grass and pleasurable degrees. The Eagles won 4-0 over 2 Division team Nesodden and Silberg scored all four goals in our first friendly down there.

The Eagles had an easy task and dominated in both halves against at home to Runar. Ørn led 3-0 at half after two goals from Elvis Dzinic and Alen Patros. Patros increased the lead to 4-0 just after the break, while Kristoffer Silberg and Julian Kristoffersen increased to 5-0 and 6-0 which was also the end result. On to the first round that is scheduled to be played 17.4. The season kicks of against FK Tønsberg 2 thursday next week.

Ørn Horten was drawn against 1. division (second tier) Stabæk in the first pruond proper of the norwegian FA Cup. It was obviously a tough opponent we got in 1st round, but this should also be an attractive and fun game for our players and spectators.
Stabæk is from the suburbs of the Oslo west end, one of the richest areas in the country. They won the nathinal championship in 2008 and tried to qualify for the Champions League in 2009 (lost against FC Copenhagen).
Horten being the poorest municipality in Norway, it's an contrast in every way.
The match is scheduled for Wednesday 17 April at. 18:00.
