I got this coming in the post: Its a player issue/ authentic Brazil shirt from the world cup last year (the new shirt looks pants). Main difference is the fabric is a lighter weave, there are "Laser Cut" holes in the side panels of the shirt *(like the picture bellow), and the logos are heat applied to prevent "nipple rub"...... *

Got this very nice J-League shirt coming to me in the post. It is Oita Trinita (previously Trinity). They currently play in the J2, which the second division of fully professional football (some teams in the JFL are professional).

Just ordered what I believe to be the 2012 Sanfrecce Hiroshima home shirt. They play in the J1 and finished the 2011 season in seventh place. They are know as the Purple Arrows, due to the ancient Samuria lord who used to govern the Hiroshima. This is also why the team play in Purlpe. The club name is a portmanteau of the Japanese numeral for three, San and an Italian word frecce or 'arrows'. This is based on the story of Mori Motonari who told his three sons that while a single arrow might be easily snapped, three arrows held together would not be broken and urged them to work for the good of the clan and its retainers.

The new 2012 Japan shirt has been launched. Very different to the previous one, used in at the World Cup and Asian Championships. It looks alright. Nothing really special. It is however a dark blue instead of the normal royal blue colour of the Samurai Blue. Maybe it will look better in person.

The new 2012 FC Tokyo shirt. Looks nice and very much like their original short from 2000. If I can I may buy it. You can't beat a team who's colours are red and blue

The new Yokohama F Marinos home shirt for 2012: It looks ok until you realise that the light blue bits are actually seagulls.

Not brand new this season, as they wore it last year as well, but this is Sagan Tosu's home shirt. I have to say I like the combination of light/bright blue and pink. Wish I lived in Japan. I could pick these kinds of gems up all the time. Oh well.
