After winning 7 out of the last 9 matches Ørn is the team to watch in the division.
Next up is a tricky away match vs the rock bottomers Stavanger IF, 18/09 KO 14:00

Best of luck. Having heard of Stavanger I would have thought they were pretty good - but I suppose fortunes change.

I think the club you're thinking of is Viking from the city of Stavanger. They're pretty good.

Ørn have 7 wins in the last 9 matches and they're clearly favourites going into this one, but Stavanger, having lost their last 6, are fighting for their lives and in that respect they're dangerous.
Stavanger are in a complete mess and have been ever since they got relegated from the 1st division last year. Financial trouble, fielding unregistered players and releasing basically the entire team are just some of the problems they've been dealing with in 2010. The meeting at Lystlunden this spring ended in a 2-2 draw, with Stavanger taking the lead twice. Both goals for SIF in that match were scored by the Ex-Ørn striker Daniel Moen Hansen (With SK Brann and Mallorca among his recent employers). Luckily for Ørn he's now gone.
Kjell André Thu is suspended for this one, and he's an integral part of the Ørn first XI.
The following players will be traveling to Stavanger for this potential cockup...
Oskar Lindbäck, Pål Stensholt, Henrik Arnesen, Peder Slettingdalen, Kristoffer Silberg, Yngve Jakobsen, Ørjan Boge, Fredrik Martinsen, Thomas Knutsen, Jørgen Jalland, Evan Patros, Rune Larsen, Alen Patros, Jarle Belaska, Eskil Karlsen Egge og Espen Teigen.

Stavanger was really no threat to Ørn today and the Eagles ran away comfortable 3-0 winners.
Thomas Knudsen opened the scoring after 8 minutes and Espen Teigen doubled the score at the half hour mark.
Leading 2-0 at half time it was really just a matter of securing the 3 points after the break.
Rune Larsen made it 3-0 with just over 10 minutes to go.
Could have easily been more goals from Ørn but still, 3-0 away in this tricky fixture takes Ørn up two places in the tables into 4th place.
Next up: The league leaders Randaberg at Lystlunden next saturday!!!

Side note: my favourite Norwegian footy club Viking FK also play in Stavanger. Sadly though Viking lost to Valerenga 4-3 at home yesterday

I think I must have a faulty internet connection, because I thought I saw you say that your favourite Norwegian footy team is Viking... There's only ONE team in Norway!! All together now: Ørn Horten!!!

I am not a student . You will find, like many graduates, I am unemployed and have been rejected for the simplest jobs in customer service and admin. However, I do enjoy the occasional Put Noodle.
