Well if this happens Burley obviously has no idea what he is doing and I won't be attending Palace for a while.
Anyone else got a point of view on this?

He continues to have a good goal scoring record albeit playing at Notts County. Certainly not a signing that would inspire particularly
Just interested, is your view because you think he is too old? Lacks the ability at Championship level? Or because of his record?

Burley might as well sign me to play up front for Palace if he doesn't want us to stay in the Championship.
Too old, not exactly prolific this season (in the division bellow us). Also heard he has served jail time. And reading the comments from others, it sounds as though it was something unpleasent.

Can't argue with the age thing; at best a very short term attempt to plug a gap. Goalscorers aren't easy to come by but I am not sure either. 6 goals in 12 games is a good return for a striker but I agree with you that is in a division below.
As for having being inside - he has done his time and paid for his crime; that shouldn't be a factor in my opinion!

I've seen him play once this season, away to Charlton, and I' pretty sure he couldn't hit water if he fell out of a canoe... He's a great example of has-beens.
