"Glentoran have had the legal procedure surrounding an application for a winding-up order by HM Revenue and Customs adjourned until the New Year.
The petition against the club, who are believed to owe the taxman between £250,000 and £300,000, was scheduled to be heard by a court on Thursday.
The Glens are believed to have secured a benefactor and are confident that the matter will be resolved in January. "
