7-up Duns Posted on May 18, 2011 by Alan Dundela 7-1 Chimney Corner Tuesday 17th May 2011 Championship 2
Dundela fired in seven goals tonight in this one sided encounter with Corner. It was evident early on that the away side were not going to be a match for the Duns and that was emphasized on six minutes whem McCracken fired in from close range. Further first half goals were added by Stephen Gourley through a penalty and two quick fire goals from Scott Hill one of which was from a seemingly impossible angle. HT 4-0
The second half was much the same as the first with Dundela getting a quick goal from the always impressive Ben Roy. Corner did pull a goal back on the hour when McGrogan caught the home defence sleeping to fire home. However further goals from Roy and a bulllet header from Craig Campbell wrapped up an easy win for the Duns. FT 7-1
Dundela Sergeant, Murphy, Bingham, Walker, Gilliland, Gourley(C), McCracken, Dunlop, Roy, Upton, Hill. Subs. Campbell(Gourley55), Fox(Hill 67).

Season finished with a win Posted on May 23, 2011 by Alan Dundela 3-0 Portstewart Saturday 21st May 2011 Championship 2 Dundela finished the season with a comprehensive victory over Portstewat at Wilgar Park.Taking the lead in the second minute through a Nicholl own goal after some superb wing play from Ben Roy. The outcome was never in doubt. Johnny Gilliland followed the opener with a fantastic strike on nineteen mintues to make things comfortable for the Duns who then proceeded to play some attractive passing football but unfortunately without further goals in the half. HT 2-0 The second period was typical of a final season game with not much at stake as both sides seemed to be going through the motions much to the annoyance of manager Mark Snodden who was looking for more effort from his players. They did respond with another goal however through substitute Brian Russell proving what an addition the big striker has been to the Duns squad. FT 3-0 Dundela Sergeant, Murphy, Bingham, Walker, Dunlop, Gourley(C), McCracken, Gilliland, Roy, Irwin, Upton Subs, Campbell(Upton 65), Russell(McCracken 72), Fox, Hill. Duns finish 4th
