This is the 2012 "slogan". Collective, Offensive, Attractive FootballIn Japan each team has to have a slogan, like "Battle as One". Not sure why. This one sounds a tad pants tbh.

Tokyo's Okinawa camp kicked off yesterday (after a 3hr flight mind you). The first day seemed to high-tempo training. Splitting the team into groups and getting them to play possession games it a tight space. Anyone who has done this before will know it is meant to sharpen you reflexes and mind. Allowing you to make that perfect pace in split second. Here are some pics from yesterdays training session: Midfielder Yohei Kajiyama (No.10) Forward Sōta Hirayama (No.13)

Tokyo beat Ryukyu 8-2 in the first pre-season game of 2012. The game was split into 3. With 2 lots of 45 followed by one of 30 minutes. The goals were scored by: (1st) Kono(1 minute), Lucas (19 minutes), Shigematsu (28 minutes), Morishige (32 minutes) (2nd) Roberto César (2 minutes), Hashimoto (34 minutes) (3rd) Hara (7 minutes), Tanizawa (20 minutes) Hasegawa Hashimoto Kenta Mukuhara A good first game. I'm not sure what team Ryukyu played but the Tokyo team was fairly strong, and I imagine not to far from the team that will play regularly.

I actually got my Tokyo shirt today. Think it must have been a an ex-display shirt as there are a couple of tiny bobbles on the back and sleeve, but nothing noticeable. The package it came in was covered in Japanese stamps as well. They look very cool. If people are interested I will try and get up a few photos over the coming days.
