Maybe if this is repeated for Palace we can look forward to a 4-0 win at Bristol City?

After a minutes silence in remembrance of the late Gary Quinn, Dundela took to the field today sporting their new strip of green and white stripes and got of to the best possible start when Stuart McCullough (playing in an unfamiliar midfield roll) fired them in front with a crisp strike on 6 minutes. The lead was to last barely six minutes with Clarke leveling from the penalty after a foul by Ryan Cardwell. Both teams were finding the uneven surface difficult to contend with but Dundela seemed to be coping better and edged in front again when Ben Roy finished of a cross from Gary Irwin with some style, and four minutes later it was Irwin who danced through a static defence to score with a classy finish. As half time approached the home side strived to get back into the game and were rewarded with Smith firing in a blistering free kick which evaded the diving Sergeant. HT 2-3 Dundela were now playing down the hill in the second half and attacked from the off but did not increase their lead until after the hour mark when William Faulkner scored and as the game headed into the final ten minutes it seemed the scoring was finished for the day, but how wrong we were. David Murphy latched on to the ball some thirty yards from goal and let go with a strike that rebounded from inside the goal so quickly that many in the ground were unaware that it had actually hit the back of the net but the refereefs assistant rightly flagged to award the goal. As the game entered the final minutes Larne grabbed a late consolation through Workman but Dundela saw out the remainder safely to notch up their second away win. Dundela Sergeant, Collins, Murphy, Faulkner, Cardwell, Aston(C), Irwin, McCullough, McClelland, Gilliland, Roy. Subs. Hume, Jackson, Bowers, Alexander, Bailie.

ard on Duns as ref ruins it! Posted on October 27, 2012 by Alan Ards 5-2 Dundela Championship 1 27/10/2012
Dundela suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of league leaders Ards today assisted by an incompetent display of refereeing.
The Duns started the game a bit tentative against the league leaders but struck the first goal against the run of play on 15 minutes when Ben Roy exchanged passes with Mark McClelland to fire the away side in front. The lead lasted all of 2 minutes as Dougan headed in from a great left wing cross and the same player put the home side in front after Sergeant saved his initial effort. With half time approaching Dundela were struck a double blow, firstly Graham Aston was penalized for a dubious handball with manager Mark Snodden being sent off for his protests,Cully duly dispatched the spot kick. Then Sergeant conceded a penalty for pushing although he seemed to be fouled first, Dougan scored from the rebound after Sergeant saved the penalty. HT 4-1
The home side extended their lead soon after the break when Arthurs netted and although Dundela strived to get back into the game Ards were proving difficult to break down. They did however get a goal back when Murphy scored from the spot after a foul on Ben Roy, it was too little too late for the away side as their efforts to cut the lead at the top of the table had already been ruined by what can only be described as a disgraceful display of refereeing by an official who should really know better. FT 5-2
Dundela Sergeant, Collins, Murphy, Faulkner, Cardwell, Aston(C), Irwin, Gilliland, McClelland, Roy, McCullough.

Dundela 1-0 Glebe Rangers Irish Cuo Round 4 08/12/2012
Dundela progressed to the next round of the Irish Cup with a narrow but deserved victory over Championship 2 side Glebe Rangers. Club captain Stephen Gourley was the hero for the home side with a superb headed goal late in the game.
Dundela started the game with five changes to last weeks line up but began in confident fashion with Mark McClelland proving a handful for the Rangers defence. Although having the majority of the play they were being confined to the odd half chance. HT 0-0
The second half was following the same pattern as the first with the home side pressing but being denied by a well marshalled Glebe backline. Just as it looked as if we would head for extra time up popped Gourley,on as a first half substitute, to plant a fine header in to the corner of the net to send The Duns safely in to the draw for the next round.
Dundela Sergeant, Collins, Davison, Faulkner, Aston(C), McCullough, Irwin, McCain, McClelland, Cherry, Bowers. Subs. Jackson, Gourley, Gilliland, Murphy, Bailie.

Jacko nicks it in thriller. Posted on January 12, 2013 by Alan Dundela 4-3 Queens University Irish Cup Rd 5 12/01/2012
Jamie Jackson struck with a late winner to send the Duns through to Round 6 after William Faulkner had earlier netted a hat trick in this enthralling encounter at Wilgar Park.
Dundela started brightly hoping to see off the students in this fifth round tie but were hit with an early setback when captain Stephen sliced a cross past Sergeant to put the away side in front after 10 minutes.
The lead was however was short lived as Faulkner fired in to level matters on 14 minutes, but Queens struck again six minutes later when Lavery scored.
Amazingly 5 minutes later Faulkner scored his second to once again pull Dundela level.
HT 2-2
Dundela started the second half on the attack and came close on a couple of occasions before remarkably once again falling behind when Lavery notched his second and Queens third after some slack defending allowed the striker through on goal.
Once again the lead was short lived as Faulkner notched his hat trick goal.
With the game heading into its final few minutes sub Jackson latched on to a through ball and fired in a dramatic winner from outside the penalty area.

Sergeant, Murphy, Davison, Faulkner, Aston, Gourley(C), Irwin, McCain, McClelland, Roy, Cherry.
